Make a mess. On purpose.
Grab a bucket and fling it across the canvas. It tumbles, splatters, and drips. Tap a bucket to paint with that color by hand. There is no wrong way to do this.
Tip: press and hold a bucket, fling it, and let go. Or just drag on the canvas to paint.
